Hola amigos! Welcome to SALSITA Mexican food market, formerly known as Boca Loca. SALSITA opened its doors a few years ago on 777 Northmount Drive NW under the name Boca Loca, but soon after changed its name to SALSITA. It is the same fresh food market which specializes in Mexican culinary flavours. SALSITA [sal-see-tah] means “a little sauce” in English.

Take a trip to SALSITA to discover our fresh Mexican salsas and guacamole made daily. Leave with souvenirs of take-home foods reminiscent of the flavours of authentic Mexican cooking.

Fill your basket with our fresh produce (tomatillos, poblanos), locally made fresh corn tortillas, specialty spices and dried chiles to create your own fiesta at home. Or, if you require the help of a “local” for your culinary journey, enroll in one of our Mexican cooking classes. Our freshly prepared goods include pico de gallo salsa, guacamole (rumoured to be the best in town), salsa verde, refried beans, and much more.
